The Woodlands Nature Station is offering fun learning opportunities are available to homeschoolers this spring! Join a naturalist at their picnic pavilion to explore a different nature topic each month. Every session will include a take home item! Click HERE to view the Facebook event for more information.

This month is all about nature journaling! Nature journaling is a great way to combine art and science and develop observational skills. Students will be guided through a series of nature exploration activities including an up-close encounter with a snake! Journal and journaling materials provided.

This month is all about the butterflies! Homeschoolers can learn identification characteristics of butterflies by painting a replica of a native butterfly. Afterwards you will take your bingo cards and go on a butterfly hike to see how many butterflies you can find!
